I hope you enjoyed the foodie madness today
with so many crazy food loving munchkins!
There are so many of them this time around I was getting worried that I couldn't fit them all in but HAZZAH! I managed to get them in!
So say hello to them all as from now on they shall be travelling thing me and stealing all my yummy food!
Your properly thinking why I choose these crazy people,
well what can I say they are the foodie bunch I end up sticking too whenever I go on a foodie marathon,
so I can't leave them out any more,
because they are joining me on this foodie marathon!
I'm sure I am giving off the same image I am when I first met them which is...
"Wow... you eat so much"
haha yes I do get that image every time I meet new foodie friends,
tested it on 13 munchkins and it was all the same answer haha
but what can I say?
I love food a bit tooooooo much so I can't help it!

I hope you enjoyed the little song that my munchkins sang to me,
have you noticed which song I have rewritten from The Hobbit?
Hehe it's...
That's What Bilbo Baggin's Hate!
I wasn't actually planning on inserting a song into the foodie adventure
but one night during my two hour workout I was thinking of the hobbit and the cute little song the dwarves sang while Bilbo was stressing over his plates
and after a little think here and there... HAZZAH we have a song that is called,
Welcome Furita To Kingdom Buffet!
~ XXX ~
Now you come to our yummy Kingdom Buffet.
From the moment you walk into this lush buffet you would be amazed that it is actually built on top of a metro station!
Believe me if it wasn't for a wonderful friend of mine Stephen who told me about it and then took me to the place, I would still be walking past it every time I'm in Newcastle and think
"What's up there?"
and
"hmm... bet its nothing good"
and go head off to some cafe shop or restaurant.
But be amazed, it may look very simple on the outside but the moment you walk inside you will be amazed and I defiantly was surprised.
The food isn't like standard buffet where everything is produced in mass quantity and then left under heat lights for everyone to take their pick, this only happens for foods such as spicy noodles and rice,
whereas everything else such as roast meats, dim sum, sushi, pasta etc
they make a small amount only and then once all is taken they then start producing more.
I wondered why they didn't this as it was time consuming
but the moment I got my hands on some of the foods I understood why, by doing this the meats/fish are cooked to perfection and not over or under cooked.
This way you get the full bursting flavours of professionally cooked food, which is something you do not normally get from buffets!
You would think you are in a proper restaurant then a buffet.
Specially on certain foods such as soups, congee and wanton...
where you can actually watch them make it for you so that you know you are actually getting the most out of it and they aren't cheating you a single bit!
The chefs are happy for you to watch and are their service is wonderful, from explaining to you what is in the foods, who you want your dish e.g how much seasoning or if you want extra spring onions.
I was surprised when I asked for a wanton soup noodles,
how the chef went into detail from what seasoning I wanted to what extras I wanted with it.
Afterwards I was kindly explained that they would take a while to cook
and that I should have a little walk around and
come back a minute or so,
Which I went to grab some pizza and went back to my table...
while there I was worried that my wanton noodles would be cooked and given to another foodie customer,
so after a minute or so I decided to go and see if my noodle was ready
and before I new it you get the chef coming out with a freshly cooked bowl of yummy wanton noodles for me!
You have to say customer service is to the max there, you really do forget you are in a buffet!
Kingdom Buffet has officially turned into my number 1 foodie place when ever I head to Newcastle,
so if you ever pop into Kingdom Buffet and spot a purple or blonde head... that will be me haha!
So if your ever in Newcastle and want something lush,
try Kingdom Buffet
how to get there is all on the site, it's a walk away from the train station but its worth it!
~ XXX ~
That is all for now!
And
Thank you all for visiting and ready!
I would be able to keep this going without all your foodie support!
I shall see you all again soon on our next foodie adventure!
