just as excited as normal, even is time did seem to slightly speed up!

I hope you enjoyed the foodie adventure
a long with the little information of our puckeroom loving Choco-Gast the Brown.

It was hard trying to fit something yummy and edible in the adventure but I managed to put one in, in the end 
and
I hope that this turned out OK and that it puts a foodie smile to your face.

 At the beginning I didn't want to place this section in the foodie adventure, I hoped to jump forward as I didn't think there would be any way of adding a yummy foodie, 
plus I thought that this could be a forgotten frame and no one would realise.

Though in the end I decided to add in the section, as I was bored at one point and ended up designing the Choco Wizards so...
why not?
It was a hard process trying to making it simpler yet match the movie in a way.
As you can see I gave him a puckerooms as his favourite food, since Saurman pointed out Radagast's love for mushrooms haha.
Therefore I have Saurman to thank there because if it wasn't for that tiny speech, I would have never have come up with yummy Wonka Puckerooms!

 Now for the yummy Puckerooms!

I actually came upon these by accident when shopping,
I was looking for a foodie that would remind me of mushrooms but after popping into so many shops I couldn't find anything that court my attention or looked like mushrooms.

So after hours and a day of searching I decided to change my original idea of linking Choco-Gast with foodie instead to link the rainy weather with food instead and there I went again on search of something that would match well with chubby rain drops.
During that little foodie hunt, I decided to take a break and popped into our most loved American Candy shop where I was going to grab myself some Resse's Puffs (yes I am addicted to them).
It was then I noticed they had some new Wonka sweets brought it and decided what I could buy to sate my sugary craving.
Then I spotted it! Puckerooms! 
I was so excited when I saw it as it reminded me of mushrooms, therefore I could keep to my original story idea, I was so happy with excited that I was literally running and jumping around the shop... I'm sure the worker's in the shop was about ready to boot me out of the shop haha.

In the end I bought two yummy packs of the sweets, one to take home and another for me to shop and eat.
When looking at the sweets, which are quite colourful, I was expecting something very sweet, filling and quite sickly.
 However when I put one in my mouth I found it wasn't that overly sweet or sour but it does give you a long chew chew, which gives you a mild and catchy flavour of the sweets, because of this it is very addictive as it tempted me to grab another and another to try again just to get the taste again and before I new it...
It was all gone!

I was shocked at how fast I actually devoured it and was about to open the second pack, but luckily I didn't... well... until I got home,
it was a hard battle with my omnomnom cravings but I managed it.

Therefore if your after a light sugary snack,
which wont destroy your taste buds or over fill your stomach... 
these chewy Puckerooms are the perfect little treat. 
So when you spot the candy packet on the shelves... give it a go and chew until your jaw is tired! 
It is worth it, and you whenever you look at mushrooms all you can think of is the fruity goodness and never the blandness again!

I hope you enjoyed our foodie adventure told by Sunny Ray himself!

While I sat and drink a cup of yummy coffee hehe.

But I have to say who better to tell the story then my group of munchkins

and

not any story but a story about ice cream!

You're properly thinking why I actually let Sunny Ray tell the story of the Ice Cream War and why a Ice Cream War?

Well... 

In The Hobbit they tell us about the battle to claiming Moria the beautiful and scary place that is filled with mythril, goblins and orcs.

It was an epic scene in the actual movie and also explained how Thorin gets his last name OakenSheild,

therefore... it had to be added!

 A slightly bit different from The Hobbit and slightly over filled with ice cream, my favourite food!

Why did we choose Ben & Jerry's?

1- it was on offer in the supermarket I was shopping in

2- I have never tried the flavour and it looked so yummy

3- it's Ben & Jerry's! Who can resist?!

And so I returned home with a whole shopping bag filled with tubs of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food ice cream 

and

a yummy tub of Winter Berry Brownie.

In an instant I ran to the kitchen and grabbed a spoon and sat at the table and omnomnomnom away!

It's so yummy it actually reminded me of creamy frozen yogurt, something I haven't eaten for quite some time,

so the tub was emptied in an instant.

It was while I was munching on the second tub of ice cream,

I was thinking up an idea in hold the get the Evil Munchie Pumpkie to lose is hand... and it was then that I managed to chomp on my tongue 

and sat sulking on the sofa...

while my beloved friends laughed,

it was then when they pointed out I should but that in a foodie adventure that I thought...

true... what better way to eat a battle than to chomp away your own hand? 

HAZZAH!

We have a war over Mooncake Cave,

We are surrounded by Ice Cream,

and

Evil Munchie chomps away his hand...

PERFECT!

And there we have it, a story that amazingly yet oddly put together haha

And

if you haven't tried the yummy

Ben & Jerry's Winter Berry Brownie Flavour...

Do give it a try if you come across it, its not overly sweet or chocolatey like most ice creams, its much more refreshing and perfect for those who doesn't want something that is too heavy.

So give it a try and when you do... you will understand why it is worth chomping your tongue for haha!

Now for the sad news of Google Reader.

It's sad to hear that it will be shutting down, which means we shall all be sad munchkins because we will lose our lovely friendie friends and reading list!

But do not worry!

We may lose Google Reader but their are other ways out there we can connect to one another, so lets all act now and keep our foodie friendship going!

This weeks foodie adventure has been a little different, 

as you may have noticed it is about coffee!

Your properly thinking where in The Hobbit does coffee appear and if I have gone mad and randomly added a section to the 

Unexpected Foodie Adventure.

I haven't gone mad, I promise!

This scene does appear as its actually the scene where Bilbo can't get to sleep because of all the snoring from the dwarves and decides to feed his cute little pony.

Since I don't have a pony, I decided to wok the story with a chocobo and changed bits here and there, I first wanted to choose something eatable. 

However I changed for a drink instead sine most people when it comes to midnight not many wake up to have a gigantic meal before going back to sleep.

That is where 9 Bit MEGA Loading Coffee!

for presenting me with the very yummy coffee drink!

The retro designed gaming coffee is something to fall in love with!

You don't have to gamer to be able to drink it, because if that was the rule... I would never have been able to try this haha.

When opening the pack the first thing that made we want to do was switch on a game console and load up a game to play while I boil myself some of the coffee, 

but since my foodie craving got the better of me... 

I dashed straight for the kettle the moment it arrived at my door step!

I have to say before making the coffee the first thing that worried me was the after taste of the coffee, which tends to cling to your mouth after drinking coffee and then you end up with the sour-bitter like taste throughout the rest of the drink.

However that never comes!

Instead, the moment I opened the tin I stood smelling the strong coffee bean smell, never have I smelt coffee with such a strong

coffee bean smell, I could have just stood there and sniffed the coffee all day and stay wide awake!

After peeling myself away from the coffee powder it was...

COFFEE TIME!

What can I say?

 It was like I was drinking a coffee gold blend but better!

The coffee itself was so smooth and without too much of the bitterness to it you feel as if your drinking a yummy, sweet, milk mocha than a fully caffeine loading coffee.

It says that the coffee is best as a espresso or a milky coffee,

though I haven't tried it as a espresso, but I have come to love the milky coffee goodness after my first try.

Since I have never been too fond of strong coffee as the taste can be unbearable, BUT this coffee doesn't have the after taste

with the feeling of drinking a weak coffee but really you are over flowing with the energy goodness!

So you want to taste the great old retro days?
