I hope you enjoyed the foodie adventure!

It's very short and simple this time round
but
I promise the adventure has officially begun,
since I have now signed the Biscuit Contract,
I shall help the munchkin's get back their biscuit home
and
I shall eat every yummy thing I see in sight haha!

~ XXX ~

This adventure has been a very strange one to do,
since the past few foodie adventures I have had a lovely bunch of munchkins with me.

So producing a little story
with
no munchkins to share the food with is very very strange,
therefore thank God
I have sign the contract and travelling with them!

~ XXX ~

Looking back at the box of doughnuts,
I am kind of glad that the munchkins wasn't there because there wasn't that many doughnuts,
meaning everyone would be fighting over them.

So...
omnomnomnom
all mine!

They are a beautiful little morning snack that I came across when shopping at Tesco's supermarket.
I actually popped into Tesco's to buy Papaya,
and since they didn't have any at the time I went for a little shop around...

I hardly ever shop in Tesco
so I wasn't too sure what their bakery section was like
and
so I headed straight to the bakery section to have a little luck.

Have to say the pastries look very yummy!
But
I really love the mini ones,
they have a selection of actual size pastries and then they have mini versions as pick 'n' mix.
So are already nicely packed and ready with one of each for you.
I spent ages deciding what I wanted
that
I think the pastry maker thought I was going mad haha.

In the end I choose mini doughnuts due to the fact they looked so cute and
colourful!
I was worried that they would be very tough to chew as some mini doughnuts are, but they aren't!
They are so lovely and fluffy and soft,
most of all my jaw didn't lock when I was chewing on the yummy goodness.

I have been have problems with my jaw lately,
where my jaw locks during chewing on tough food (happened with a doughnut before) so I was getting worried.
But after the first... second... third doughnut I was fine,
so what could I do except for fight for the rest before they are eaten haha!

After finding these little treats they are perfect for
satisfying my Krispy Kreme craving when I am unable to travel out to the far far lands of Newcastle to buy them.

Therefore...
Tesco will be seeing me hopping about the bakery section a lot more now.
You should defiantly give it a little try
if you are craving something sweet but not overly sweet ^^

You never know you might even bump into me,
drooling at the food haha!

Thank you for reading
and
I hope you enjoyed the fun little adventure!

I had quite a panic attack when making this foodie adventure, since I had extra shifts and stocking taking I didn't realise I was running low on time to produce the adventure until around Friday!
Since I was ill I didn't actually go out shopping or buy the needed things either,
so Saturday was a wonderful day of me crawling out to town to buy my yummy foodies
and
finish off the craziness of this adventure!

So yeah, the week has been a very hectic but fun one,
filled if ill me but still with loads of food!

~ XXX ~

Now I introduce you to...
Choco the Yellow!
Our wizard of the group also our final member of the foodie group,
can never forget the our wizard guide!
Though I have thought of leaving him behind but then it popped to mind that it wouldn't be a hobbit adventure without our wizard and therefore I added our
funny wizard in!

Chocobo wise...
He's no longer our Chubby Tubby Chocobo!
I really wanted to keep my chocobo as the snowball version but then again it didn't look right,
specially when I applied the wizard hat on the snowball version,
so I decided on a much cuter and healthier chocobo!
At least now if I get tired on the journey I can jump on his back and waddle along haha!

After so many adventures you are properly thinking "Cake?! Again???"
I can't help it! I have a sweet addiction to cakes!
I was actually on a hunt for a some giant profiteroles, but while I walked to the cake and dessert section I saw a stand advertising Cadbury's Caramel cake bars.

I went over to have a little look and noticed the Boost cake bar next to it!
Since I liked munching on Boost chocolate bars to begin with, I was curious to see what
the cake version would be like, so I decided to buy some and try it out.

Once tried I have to say I like the cake better then the actual chocolate bar now!
The chocolate bar tends to remind me of a Snickers or Mars bar every now and again,
however
the cake bar is nothing like that!
First of all is that it isn't overly sweet, so you are not dying of thirst the moment you finish the cake
but it does give you the perfect taste of the chocolate bar,
since the top layer is the chocolate creme and biscuit pieces.
Bottom layer being the yummy chocolate cake layer,
which is lovely and chocolatey!
I know some say you can't taste the chocolate in a chocolate cake but trust me you can in this yummy goodness
and
its a nice little extra texture added for the chewing fun,
so that you aren't just chewing the chocolate creme which is quiet gooey and sweet,
but because they reduced the amount of creme and replaced it with a layer of cake it is nicely balanced out so that it doesn't give you the sickly feel when you decide to munch on 1-2 bars hehe.

Therefore if you want to munch on a yummy Cadbury's chocolate bar,
why not try one of their cake bars?
Same satisfaction or the chocolate bar but more filling ^^

~ XXX ~

Once again thank you for reading and visiting!

If not for your support
these foodie adventures would have died out ages ago!

Therefore
THANK YOU ALL!

I shall see you all again next week on our new foodie adventure!

I hope you enjoyed the little foodie adventure told by the munchkins themselves.

Don't you wish you can go and visit biscuit mountain?
Because I really do
and maybe one day we will and  munch on yummy biscuits all day and night.

~ XXX ~

This had been a very difficult adventure to write since I have spent a while trying to figure out how to right it.

I actually wanted to have this post, posted at the beginning of of January so that it actually matched
the opening of The Hobbit movie,
however I realised I have really sorted out a Lord of the Rings adventure so I didn't really need to add this in...
But it was a peice that I really wanted to add in and HAZZAH it gets added here,
but then my problem was... how to link it in to my foodie adventures.

That is how my good old friend B-Boy Bennie comes in!
He is the awesome munchkin who helped me decide this story all due to a funny incident on our snowboarding holiday.
One year, Bennie and a bunch of my munchkins went on holiday to Switerland to go snowboarding,
when we arrived there we where starving and sleeping so we all decided to crawl into our hotel room and pass out... BUT we were too hungry to sleep.
Luckily before travelling to Switzerland you stocked up on snacks and Mary handed out the yummy foodies,
since Bennie was actually on the top bed of a bunk bed he couldn't get any of the snacks.

In the end I think Jas decided to hand him a cookie, which Ben actually dived for it and since he was so close to the ceiling he knocked himself out.
So in the end we had a slighty dizzy Ben laying on the bed with a cookie in his hand.

That is why I choose to have the mountain be filled with biscuits instead of mithril haha!
So if you ask me is this story based off a real life story,
I can say yes it partly is and I am sure Bennie wouldn't mind me turning sure a funny moment into a foodie adventure haha.

~ XXX ~

As for my choice of biscuits,
I needed to stock up on biscuits since I ate all my collection due to boredom and being ill so I went hunting for my Cadbury's biscuits in the supermarket and that was when I noticed Quirks.

I remembered someone telling me that Quirks are really good and that I should really give them a try
but at the time I put them off because
I had the feeling that the chocolate inside would be slightly harden and a pain to eat,
so I never bought them.
This time I saw a few different ones and got curious so I decided to give it and try
and
wooooooooow!
The chocolate centre is actually a melted chocolate centre,
which is amazing, its as if eating a cookie dipped in a chocolate fondant!
It's a perfect after a meal treat without much mess and once you tuck into one you will become addicted and want more and more!

They may now be able to take the place of my most love Cadbusy's Turkish Delight Biscuits, which I love to dunk in my tea and taste the chocolatey goodness
But they have my craving snack for when ever I feel peak-ish or craving for chocolate I dive stright to Quirks!
They may look simple with nothing special but trust me,
there is much more to them then you actually think and they will satisfy your sugary needs!

So when you see them don't walk away from them,
give them a little try you might just fall in love with them hehe.

~ XXX ~

I hope you all have enjoyed the fun little munchkin adventure
and
Thank you
for reading and popping by!

I hope you see you all again very soon on our next foodie adventure!

Some of you may know its Chinese New Year, and year of the Snake
so happy new yearssssssssss,
Hope you all have a wonderful year of the golden snake ^^

See you all very soon!
